We logged the last QSO at 9 UTC with PD1PH and DL1QW our Pilot.
In spite of difficult propagation conditions and heavy local noise on the low bands we realized 32.345 QSOs!!!
Thank you very much to everybody who called us.
Our equipment did not run out on us. We had electric power cuts, which unfortunately happened quite often, but fortunately our backup generator didn’t fail to support us when necessary.
A big thank you to my friends and colleagues, Norbert, Heye and Emil for the great job and the great time together!
Another big thank you to everybody who supported our activity with donations via PayPal.
And last but not least thank you to all those, without their support this nice adventure would not have been possible:
- Didier / TU5KC
- Abdulaid / logistics
- the Radio Club Ivory Coast / TU2CI
- Gerard / TU5JM
- the whole team of our hotel La Maison de la Lagune, particularly our host Catherine and her marvelous employees Letitia and Hervé.
Finally I wish our friends of F6KOP success for their upcoming expedition to Ivory Coast, a good propagation and that they have as much fun as we did.
Late today we will be on our way back home. Next week we will start working on our Log and OQRS. Thanks for having some patience on this regard.
